Hi there,
We received the keyless entry remote system today and we're very happy. My fiance was surprised at the size of the box and thought i'd surprised her again with something else lol.
She's going to love having a remote to open and close her car.
We've left you positive feedback... hope you like it.

I own an old Mitsubishi Magna, 300k on the clock and still running fine BUT, the door locks are getting a bit worn and not inclined to work at times. The Magna has central locking, but not remote operated, so I ordered this kit on the net over a long weekend and it arrived in the mail next working day - IMPRESSIVE! A couple of things to note: 1) The remotes are already matched to the brain, and 2) There are 3 wires marked blue, just to make sure you are on your toes :)
The wires aren't actually colour coded, they just have a sticker on each wire marking their status, so be careful when pulling the wires through rubber firewall plugs etc, else you wont know which wire is which.
In my case, the LOCK and UNLOCK wires were marked in reverse order, but not hard to figure that one out.
I didn't bother hooking up the wires for to flash the lights or sound the horn (tho I might in the future), pulling the two wires through the firewall was fun enough. The internet provided all the wiring details I needed for the Magna electrics to link the two units, and voila! working remote central locking for under $50!!!
In short, I am really impressed that such a low cost unit would do exactly what i needed, exactly as stated, and relatively simple to get going. You do need to be able to read circuit diagrams, or have a friend that can, but I would not hesitate to recommend this unit to anyone wanting a low cost way to add remote facilities to their central locking system :)
